How to use Porter Express service

1.Application

Please apply by filling out a slip at the front desk of hotel which has a partnership with Porter Express.

2.Payment

Size and quantity of your luggage will be checked at the front desk, and it will be accepted at hotel upon your payment.

3.Pick Up・Delivery

Our porter will come to pick up your luggage. We have two pickup time each day, at 7:00 (for Haneda and Narita), and 14:00 (for Haneda only).

4.Receiving

Please present your slip (customer receipt) at the airport’s JALABC departure counter to receive your luggage.

Estimated shipping time and airport arrival time

We will come to your hotel for pick up twice each day (twice for Haneda, once for Narita), normally between 7:00 and 14:00 on your departure date.
Please give yourself enough time and apply accordingly.

By when can I ship my luggage to receive it at the airport?

Pick up deadlines vary depending on hotel locations, but you ar e to leave your luggage at your hotel front desk and finish paying for it by 5:00 AM (pick up time) on your departure date, in order to receive it by 10:00 at Haneda or 13:00 at Narita.

If processed afterwards, you will receive your luggage by 18:00 at Haneda or the following day at Narita.

Is there a delivery service available from hotel to anywhere other than Haneda・Narita airports?

We are sorry, but our delivery service is limited to airports from hotels.

Where can I receive my luggage?

Please choose one of the following locations to receive your luggage, at time of your application.

What happens if I couldn’t receive my luggage at the airport?

Please call our receiving center if you are unable to receive it during the day.

Be noted that storage charge of 400 yen per day will be generat ed for JAL ABC departure delivery counter (International flight).

Baggage

Is there a size restriction?

Basically there is no size restriction, however, we are not able to accept any baggages that cannot be loaded to or unloaded from our collection vehicle by one staff.

Also, be noted the rules on check-in luggage and carry-on luggage on international flights are different depending on the country, airline, type of aircraft, route, etc.

Please be sure to pack according to your airline company’s restrictions.

Can I ship anything other than my suitcases?

Yes, you can ship not only suitcases but also backpacks, cardboard boxes, paper bags, etc.

Please make sure to seal cardboard boxes or paper bags with adh esive tapes, etc., before shipping them out.

Do I have to cover my suitcase?

Not necessary. No need to cover your luggage.

Is it okay to attach a tag or a key holder to my suitcase?

Please remove any tags or key holders before shipping, as they may be lost during transportation.

Fees

How much do you charge?

It will be 2,500 yen (including tax), if the added length total of three sides (length, width, height) is less than 158 cm and it weighs less than 30 kg.

It will be 5,000 yen (including tax), if over size or over weight.

How do I settle my payment?

Please make a payment at your hotel front desk, in cash or with credit card, etc.

  • Credit card payment
    Type of credit cards and number of payments to be accepted depend on each hotel.
  • Cash payment
    Please pay in cash at your hotel. Currencies to accept depend on each hotel. Please contact your hotel for details.

Are there additional charges?

No, all airport surchages are included in our rate. There is no additional rate whatsoever.

Please be noted there will be storage charge generated each additional day, if your package has been arrived but not picked up on its arrival date.

What is compensation policy for lost or damaged items?

If your baggage has been lost or damaged, we compensates up to 300,000 yen as the maximum liability amount based on the disclaimer set by our company
